[[ The Minion Presents: Boss Marksman's Tumblr ask blog ]]

I Am But Shadow; I Am But Minion

Eroh said this…digital diary blog thing would be therapeutic. I bet him ten gold coins it wasn’t. Now, I’m broke. I am Boss Kill R Marksman, true ruler of the Minions and the Saothairlands. This is my ask blog.

Welcome to the official ask blog and library of Boss Kill R Marksman, the antagonist of the forthcoming The Minion series by upcoming fantasy/paranormal author Robyn Lloyd!

This tumblr is set slightly before Marksman went villainous. However, there’s a time loop, where you can ask him anything from any point in his life, before and after this. So, go ahead. Give him a poke!

He might bite, fyi.

(For clarity’s sake: Marksman and company do indeed swear with “beep” and “beeping”! Feel free to insert your own explicit or just hear it as “beep”.)

Dara's capitol, Avalon. It doesn't matter what they do, they're always so beeping flashy. I will admit, though -- their main castle on an island is cool.

The viaduct and pass between the Saothairlands and Dara. Unless you want to meet the harsh desert and even harsher creatures that happen to frequent this stretch of land, this passage is your best bet for survival -- speaking from experience, here.

A little peek into Vysian territory. Don't be fooled -- while this place is the epitome of natural beauty, the land is just as deadly as its settlers.

The Din Region is the one other place besides mine I could sit and stare at all day long. Maybe it's sentiment and influence from Din allies, but just look at this place...

400 types of herbs and counting. The Din are both ambitious and suspicious -- it's no wonder they're always so happy.

Mt. Darkhead and its foothills, right into the low and high plains of Bogmoor. Truly lovely landmarks of the Saothairlands. See? Even this guy likes them.

Asha

What can I say, except how I loathe her. And, yet, my heart sings with the lies I gladly sunk into, just to be treated as an equal for once. Asha… A snake Din, she really does live up to the term “snake-like” in all meanings of the word. I do wonder at times what she’s up to.

Alivia armor - w WM and url.png

Princess Alivia

Perhaps my greatest irritation to ever breathe, this 12th-generation heiress is no pushover. I’ve worked for a few years now to take the final Saothair territory back from her, and yet this child finds a way to stop me EVERY. FREAKING. TIME. She’s as fierce a fighter as a Saothair and as clever as a Vys, wrapped in a package of Din ruthlessness and Human cunning.

I would call her a worthy opponent, but at this point I just want my land back. I’m too beeping tired and old for this beep.

It doesn’t help that Kry is so madly in love with her, he practically hands every battle to her. As much as it would hurt him…I need to get rid of her…

Elder Eroh

My mentor, most trusted advisor, and best friend. One of the last survivors of the world war purge that enslaved my people, which he was a young male during. Known for his sharp tongue, boisterous laugh, warm heart, and stupendous archery skills. (Name is a bit clichéd. This is because his parents worshiped Brògan, a Saothair god of archers, just as he does.)

[image coming soon – the little jackrabbit won’t cooperate]

Spy Errond

A Vys and spy that’s been working for me behind the scenes for years now. He knows nearly as many secrets about me and the Saothair inner workings as Kry or Eroh. Normally, I trust others roughly 5% of the time and wouldn’t share secrets, but…Errond and I have a strange bond, soldered haphazardly together by Kiri… My Kiri…

Sentry Kiri No.png

Sentry Kiri No

A Vys sentry I crossed the wrong paths with when I was tricked into stealing a Vysian artifact. As she hunted me, something else hunted us that threw us into a whirlwind of deadly adventures. We began as enemies and came out as lovers. I was blessed and cursed with a few years of happiness with her as my wife, until her fear of her people harming me for her betrayal led her to run. An assassin did indeed find her…

I miss her more every day and…between you and me…I fear myself slipping each second worse for it. One can only grow so cold, yet still keep passion for his people.

(You can read about Kiri soon!)

Kry armor - w WM and url - smlr.png

Kry For-Me Slaine

My current general and impressively so. Not only was he the youngest in all ranks he’s stepped into, he bested every one of my records – and I’m the one that invented our current militia and its standards! Kry is the adopted son of two of my advisers, so he’s been around the palace a long time, learning its ins and outs. The only thing against him, it seems, is his human appearance.

Óchi

A rare, blind Oracle Alium, half-Din and half-Minion, she’s Kry’s best friend. If attitude could be personified, this girl is it. She makes me seem Saint-like. But, while she chafes me to no end, her visions are an asset I’d gladly bear the hell of her mouthiness for.

Not sure what it is that I attract so many headstrong females into my midst.
