Video Game Concept

  • A (faux) concept for a Legend of Zelda game!

Visual Arts Creative Presentation video for VEM (Full Sail University), February 2017.

-------

"Here is my Visual Arts Creative Presentation for VEM (Visual Arts in the Entertainment and Media Industries), at Full Sail University!

This was so much fun, it almost makes me want to switch my degree to video editing. Almost (I still like writing more than anything). It was an amazing experience that added to my knowledge of editing, writing, narrative video games, and Legend of Zelda.

Thank you for this opportunity, VEM. It was well worth what I gained from it!

Also, please don't be intimidated by the extra time; nearly a minute of that is credits. I did A LOT of research for this project. The 20-some seconds over the required 5 minutes, though, is because I made a creative decision not to sum up the 300-word "story" portion. Doing so would have ruined it, as It's already more or less at its bare minimum. I felt this was best for the project's sake.

Thank you for watching! I hope it's entertaining, if only a little.

~Robyn (Section 02)

Credits: Too long for the description, but are all at the end of the video, beginning around 5:26.

Disclaimer: I do not claim any of the incredible art, songs, or sound effects used in this research project. All credit goes to their respective, talented creators, and is used purely for academic purposes on my part. However, I do encourage the playing of Legend of Zelda, the viewing of the artists’ works, and falling in love with it all.

Faux Febreze Commercial

  • A faux, 27-second commercial for Febreze Fabric spray, shot and edited only with Robyn's smartphone.

  • With the voice talents of Robyn's fiancé (the chair) and her best friend (the narrator)!

  • You can read the initial script here.
